Variable Energy Cyclotron Center (VECC) 2012

The Variable Energy Cyclotron Center (VECC) was set up on 16 June 1977 and it is a research and growth unit of the Indian Department of Atomic Energy. It has offers proton, deuteron, alpha particle and heavy ion beams of several energies to early institutions. It is settled in Kolkata in West Bengal, India, performs research in basic and applied nuclear sciences. Variable Energy Cyclotron Center (VECC) has invites application form for following post recruitment on 2012 and it application form is also available on Variable Energy Cyclotron Center (VECC) official website.

Applications are invited to the following posts:-

Post : SCIENTIFIC OFFICER/C (MEDICAL)

Pay scale – 15600 – 39100/- & Grade Pay – 5400/-

Transport Allowance as per A-1 Class City + DA on transport allowance) = 54,406/-

No. of post : 1 (one)
Essential Qualification & : M.B.B.S. degree from a recognized University with at
field of experience least 1(one) year institutional experience in the relevant
field after obtaining the degree. Degree should be
recognized by the Medical Council of India. Mandatory
internship shall not be counted as experience.
Maximum Age Limit : Not more than 35 years.

Post: SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT/C (Gamma Camera Operator)
Pay scale : 9300-34800/- & Grade Pay: 4600/-
Total Emoluments : (Initial pay in the Pay Band + Grade Pay + DA + HRA & Transport
No. of post : 1 (one) (OBC)
Essential Qualification & : i) Minimum 50% marks in B.Sc. and
Field of experience ii) Minimum 50% marks in Diploma in Medical
Radio-Isotope Techniques (DMRIT)
Candidates should have minimum 4 years experience in
handling nuclear Gamma Camera and associated
computer systems and other in-vivo nuclear medicine
techniques.
Maximum Age Limit : Not more than 37 years

Post: SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT/B (Gamma Camera Operator)
Pay Scale: 9300-34800/- & Grade Pay : 4200/-
Total Emoluments : (Initial pay in the Pay Band + Grade Pay + DA + HRA & Transport
Allowance as per A-1 Class City + DA on transport allowance) = 27,908/- p.m. (approx.)
No. of post : 1 (one) (OBC)
Essential Qualification : i) Minimum 50% marks in B.Sc. and
ii) Minimum 50% marks in Diploma in Medical
Radio-Isotope Techniques (DMRIT).
Maximum Age Limit : Not more than 33 years.

TECHNICIAN/B – (PLUMBING) (PB-1)
Pay Band : 5200-20200/- & Grade Pay : 2000/-
Total Emoluments: (Initial pay in the Pay Band + Grade Pay + DA + HRA & Transport
Allowance as per A-1 Class City + DA on transport allowance) = 16,853/- p.m. (approx.)
No. of posts : 2 (Two) (OBC)
Essential Qualification : HSC or SSC pass both with Science and Mathematics with
minimum 60% marks in aggregate either in SSC or HSC.
One year Trade certificate of Plumbing Trade from a
recognized institution/NCVT is mandatory in the case of
candidates with SSC qualification only.
Age Limit : Between 18 years and 30 years.
